Using Pride of Cows Curd 2

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp fresh pride of cows  curd
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
  • Handful of Mint leaves
  • Salt
  • Ice Cubes
  • ½ cup Water

Directions

Prepare the Curd:
Ensure the Pride of Cows curd is fresh and at room temperature. You can use homemade curd or high-quality store-bought curd.
Blend the Ingredients:
In a blender or mixer, add the fresh curd. This will serve as the base for the Chaas.
Sprinkle in the cumin seed powder. Cumin adds a distinct flavor and aids digestion.
Toss in the handful of mint leaves. Mint gives the Chaas a refreshing taste.
Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
Add Water and Blend:
Pour in about half a cup of water. The amount of water can be adjusted based on how thin or thick you prefer your Chaas.
Secure the lid of the blender and blend all the ingredients until they are well combined and you get a smooth mixture.
Check Consistency:
After blending, check the consistency of the Chaas. If it's too thick, you can add a bit more water and blend again. If it's too thin, you can adjust by adding a bit more curd.
Chill and Serve:
Add a few ice cubes to the Chaas to chill it and make it more refreshing.
Taste and Adjust:
Taste the Chaas and adjust the salt and cumin powder according to your preference. You can also adjust the mint leaves if you want a stronger mint flavor.
Strain (Optional):
If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the Chaas through a fine sieve to remove any coarse bits of mint or curd.
Garnish and Presentation (Optional):
You can garnish the Chaas with a mint leaf or a sprinkle of cumin powder before serving.
Serve:
Pour the Chaas into glasses and serve immediately.
